"Colours and Powders" is inspired by the Holi Festival, or Festival of Colours, the Indian festival celebrating inner rebirth, which occurs annually as winter fades, to pay homage to the Earth’s awakening into the fruitful days of spring. Explosive hymn to joy, the Festival of Colours is an invitation to abandon all sorrows and embrace life. In this editorial reinterpretation, bright hues combine with the unmistakable evocative tactile quality of powders, in a celebration of beauty that is both radiance and matter, divine and earthly, soul and body.
